Local Council Election Timeline

9/23/25 – Self-Nominations Open

Self-nominations are the first step in the election process.

10/7/25 – Self-Nominations Close

Self-nominations close.

10/17/25 – Voting Instructions Mailed

Voting Notice & Instructions will be mailed to your home address on file. You can verify this address at afacwa.org/hub.

10/22/25 – Online Voting Opens

Online polls open at 12:00 EDT. Members are able to cast their ballots using the Activation Code received by mail at your home address on file.

11/6/25 – Voting Ends & Results Announced

Online polls close at 12:00 EST. The Ballot Certification Committee certifies the results, notifies the successful candidates and posts the results on afacwa-elections.org.

How To Vote

  • Obtain Your Activation Code. Each Member will receive a unique activation code at your home address on file.

  • Access The Voting Portal. Visit the secure election website starting on 10/22/25 at 12:00 EDT. The ballot link will be provided in your physical ballot packet.

  • Cast Your Electronic Ballot. Enter the Activation Code you received and follow the simple steps to cast your vote.

  • Need Help? If you don’t receive your Activation Code at your home address on file, you can request a replacement code here.
