When a member reaches out with an issue, whether it’s a scheduling dispute, pay discrepancy, or contract violation, they deserve clarity, accountability, and timely follow-up. Too often, Flight Attendants are left wondering about the status of their case, or find themselves repeating the same information to different reps. As your Local Council President, I will implement a clear, streamlined process to ensure grievances and concerns are handled efficiently and transparently.

How We’ll Make It Happen

A Ticket-Style Tracking System

Members should never be left in the dark about their own case or issue they’re trying to get resolved. By shifting to a ticket-like system, every issue will have a clear status update, so you’ll always know if your concern is being assessed, researched, escalated, or resolved. This system creates transparency and peace of mind.

Accountability for AFA Representatives

Your elected leaders and committee volunteers must be accountable to you. I will establish clear expectations for follow-up and resolution, ensuring that no concern is ignored and every member receives timely communication about next steps.

Smarter Internal Workflows

Behind the scenes, our AFA reps need the tools to work efficiently. I will lead efforts to eliminate duplicative work and create streamlined processes for case management, allowing reps to spend more time helping members and less time repeating tasks.

Every Flight Attendant’s issue deserves attention, respect, and a resolution. With stronger systems in place, we can make sure no member is left wondering if their Union is working for them, because it always will be.
